Barren of Shape’s ‘Fauna and Defloration’ EP (FCU003) Now Available

What began as a sludge endeavor between three close friends (Tom, Dario, Dylan), Barren of Shape quickly evolved into a maniacal experiment of dual bass grindcore. Pockmarked with funky jazz interludes, percussive blasts, chirps and shrieks a la Mike Patton, a grimy undertow of undulating bass wires, and slick grooves to boot, Fauna and Defloration is nineteen minutes of grind gone awry. It’s a cheeky deluge of zaniness sure to smear a smile across your face.

This release is limited to 40 hand-numbered copies. Each cassette is professionally dubbed on high bias tape. Shells are wasabi green and pad-printed on both sides with Barren of Shape’s logo. Physical orders also come with a custom From Corners Unknown sticker.

You can stream Fauna and Defloration as much as you’d like in the embedded player above or by visiting the From Corners Unknown Records Bandcamp page. Digital downloads for this release are free. Thank you so much for your support.
